I have known Peter as a friend for decades, but it wasn’t until I got into a little trouble that I could see how good Peter is at settling cases. Peter is well known in his circuit as a man of integrity. He takes on a variety of cases which gives him the credibility of not having to say for the 100th time to the same judge, the same tired line.
I had a case with some additional misbehaviors, called “accentuators”, that could have led me to some serious trouble. Peter told me in no uncertain terms what could happen, but reassured me that if I follow his instructions, attending certain meetings, talking to certain professionals, gathering documents, things could settle more favorably for me. He called me frequently to check on my progress, and wrote a very convincing letter to the judge.
Indeed, the case was settled with the most minimal of terms, and the judge even waived the $1,600 fine! Unheard of in that county.
Additionally, Peter is the kind of lawyer who is very good at getting both sides to come to an agreement; he is excellent at mitigating emotionally charged circumstances. His fees are reasonable (though I did get a “friend” discount), and he is honest and gentle. He is currently working on some legal documents for me. I highly recommend Peter.
